Reuters medtem poroča, da sta bila dva člana njihove novinarske ekipe, ki je bila kot taka jasno označena, v Minneapolisu poškodovana, ko ju je policija zadela z gumijastimi naboji.
Gre za še enega v nizu napadov na novinarje med poročanjem s protestov. V istem mestu je bil v petek aretiran CNN-ov novinar, v Louisvillu v Kentuckyju pa so policisti novinarko med oddajanjem v živo ustrelili s posebnimi nesmrtonosnimi naboji. Policija se je za ta incident pozneje opravičila.

Na žalost taka taktika pri množičnih demonstracijah sploh ni tako redka kot bi si človek želel, je bilo kar nekaj takšnega videti nedavno pri protestih v Hongkongu. Običajno je poanta delovanja teh kvazidemonstrantov v dodatnih, bolj ekstremnih provokacijah oz. v delanju p33sdarij, da lahko oblasti posledično stopnjujejo represijo.
Sam tok, da bom 100% o katerem prispevku debatirava - tisto z vojsko na ulici ali obramba trgovine pred ropanjem?
Aja, seveda, na to slednje, nevermind. Morda je pa res zaigrano ja ampak kdo (od nas) bi vedel za 100%...
Ja, sem zgruntal. Najprej sem mislil, da ciljaš na nek komentar višje in ne na moj predhoden prispevek. 
Lahko, da je zaigrano, lahko pa da spet ni. Tudi med protestniki se najde normalen folk, vidno tudi pri obrambi policaja, ki je bil izločen iz skupine drugih policajev. In tak normalen folk se zaveda, da pretirano nasilje in ropanje ter požiganje samo škoduje vsesplošnemu namenu njihovih aktivnosti.
Lahko, da je zaigrano, lahko pa da spet ni. Tudi med protestniki se najde normalen folk, vidno tudi pri obrambi policaja, ki je bil izločen iz skupine drugih policajev. In tak normalen folk se zaveda, da pretirano nasilje in ropanje ter požiganje samo škoduje vsesplošnemu namenu njihovih aktivnosti.
p.s. očitno gre za starejši video in ni od sedanjih protestov ampak se nanaša na proteste zaradi smrti nekega drugega črnca leta 2014

In a statement, the FBI stated the shooting occurred at the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building at 1301 Clay St. Authorities say a vehicle pulled up to the building and an assailant inside the vehicle began firing gunshots at security personnel stationed outside.
Two officers were shot, with one succumbing to his injuries and dying. The second officer was injured and his condition was not released by the FBI. On Saturday, officials from the Department of Homeland Security called the killing an act of Domestic Terrorism and said further attacks further attacks on law enforcement will not be tolerated.

"I got beat up," he said, later claiming two African-American people had reached "through my open window" to do so.
"Well, of course I got beat up when I yelled, 'All Lives Matter', then I pulled out weapons, then I got beat up some more.
"Then the cops grabbed me and my car got towed … and my phone, everything, I lost everything coming down here trying to protect them with what weapons I had."
He added: "And I backed up the law enforcement, you know, I know some cops are bad, I know some people, all races are bad."
When asked about the state of his car, the man added: "Well, I seen it on fire, so it's totalled. And everything I had in it."
The man said he had been marching with protesters "trying to convince them, 'All Lives Matter', these cops didn't do it, some cops are bad."
