The BBC have confirmed Top Gear's £10million live world tour will go ahead next month with Jeremy Clarkson at the helm alongside fellow presenters James May and Richard Hammond.
A BBC Worldwide spokesman said they will fulfil the series of gigs which have already sold 200,000 tickets worldwide - but added that the shows will be stripped of all BBC branding and content and billed as Clarkson, Hammond and May Live.
That means the shows, which will take place in venues as far afield as Australia, Norway, and South Africa as well as the UK, will not be able to use clips from the show or feature The Stig.
The move comes less than a week after Clarkson was dismissed from the BBC for an 'unprovoked' attack on a Top Gear producer.
The tour starts in Australia next month and fans have paid between £35 and £200 for tickets to the live shows.
A BBC Worldwide spokesman said: 'So as not to disappoint the thousands of people around the world who have already purchased tickets, BBC Worldwide has agreed with our joint venture partner Brand Events that the remainder of the tour can continue.

Sicer se pa splača pogledati peti del Fifth Gear-a. Chris Harris je bil gost, testirala pa sta head to head Porsche 911 GT3 in Ferrari 458 Speciale. Vmesna zbadanja (sploh v osrednjem delu) so bila pa skoraj na nivoju Top Gear-a.

Je ravno danes James povedal v intervjuju da bi blo nadaljevat Top Gear brez Clarksona idiotsko. Se pa med drugim lahko veselimo nove sezone njegove serije Cars of the people

The BBC has reportedly chosen a “dream team” of presenters for its new version of Top Gear that includes the former model Jodie Kidd.
Life on Mars star Philip Glenister and Channel 4 presenter Guy Martin have also been approached for the new series, according to reports.
Ms Kidd, who is the granddaughter of Canadian newspaper baron Lord Beaverbrook, currently presents Channel 5's Classic Cars Show.
Corporation chiefs are said to be desperate to find a new set of presenters after they were forced to sack Jeremy Clarkson, while co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May refused to sign new contracts.
The presenter was found to have split Mr Tymon’s lip and verbally abused him after a BBC investigation.
