Ukraine's Donbas Is Like America's Deep South

Were there too many Ukrainian schools?, I asked. No, he answered. Did Ukrainians dominate the media? No. Was he unable to speak Russian in public? No, again. What then was the problem? He finally fessed up: the very fact that Ukrainian existed in the Crimea was an offense. Indeed, I can think of no instance of a Russian speaker being discriminated against in either the Donbas or the Crimea since 1991.

A far more appropriate analogy for understanding Russo-Ukrainian relations is the Jim Crow South, with Russians as the whites and Ukrainians as the blacks. Not only have Russians and Russian speakers ruled the Crimea and the Donbas and enjoyed complete language and cultural rights. They have also proven to be the most reactionary, intolerant and illiberal population within Ukraine.

torej spolna usmerjenost je faktor za znižanje prometnih nesreč...

On Sunday, the first shale company filed for bankruptcy. WBH Energy LP, a private Texas-based drilling group, filed for bankruptcy after saying that their lender was no longer willing to advance money. The company estimates their debt between $10-50 million. There are hundreds more in the US alone.

Analysts believe North American shale needs to sell at $60-100 per barrel to break even on the billions of debt accrued by the energy companies. Indebted companies, fearing bankruptcy, may therefore be forced to keep selling oil, even at a loss.

Spet si me dobil na finto...začnem brat članek, pa se spomnim in pogledal od kje izhaja link, itak...RT.com, čisto nekredibilen vir in tako je tudi jemati ta članek.

Kje pa sem rekel, da CNN/Fox je?

Ampak RT je direktno financiran iz strani ruske vlade. Rusija pa zadnje tedne trpi ogromne izgube zaradi nizke cene nafte. Po kaki logiki bi bili njihovi članki okoli cene nafte lahko kredibilni? Še posebej po tem, ko je pred nekaj dnevi rusija na silo sklicala OPEC in želela doseči svoje okoli znižanja dnevnih kapacitet načrpanih sodčkov "na vzhodu" ?

Medije je treba jemati z rezervo, saj vemo da je dandanes njihovo poslanstvo služenje in ne več resnica.
