Flex Error: Phone Subsidy Locked

How to fix it:
connect the phone to a P2K program.
delete the secure_pds_init file
do not restart the phone, just unplug it
go to Menu >>> Settings >>> Personalise >>> Greeting; delete the startup message or enter a new one.
now restart the phone, the message will not come back.

My phone displays a "enter subsidy code" message but the phone is not locked. What can I do?
Open up P2K Manager and search for file "secure_pds_init."
Delete it.
Go to Settings -> Personalize -> Greeting & delete the "Flex Error: Phone Subsidy-Locked" message.
Finally restart the phone.

1. Use one of the p2k programs and delete the secure_pds_init file in the a/mobile/system/ directory of the phone. 2. BEFORE you restart the phone, go into the Settings>Personalize>Greeting menu and delete the startup message or change to something else if you'd like. 3. Then reboot the phone and the message shouldn't come back. 4. The key is to first delete that file, then change or delete the greeting msg, then restart.
