Speech recognition makes navigation safer and easier than ever. Now it’s possible to keep both hands on the wheel, tell nüvi what to do and where to go, and you’re on your way to stress-free travel.
Once activated, the user can effortlessly manipulate controls by speaking the words that correspond to buttons that are on the touchscreen display, so that almost any common task can be performed without ever touching the unit.
For the ultimate in safety, a driver at any time speak the phrase, “where am I?” and their device will display its exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and gas stations. Speech recognition can also be used to search for addresses as well – all hands-free, from start to finish.

ce sem jaz prav razumel, je ASR za glasovno upravljanje navigacije (seveda v anglescini, tako da to ni za nas, ki smo pri tem bolj levi), trafficTrends pa zgodovina prometa - kje so ob dolocenih dnevih doloceno uro ponavadi zastoji in se izogiba tistim odsekom... upam da "ne ucim krive vere"
Tako je. ASR v našem jeziku ne dela, trafficTrends pa tudi bolj dvomim, da bi delalo, vsaj jaz nisem opazil. Edino, pogojno, je uporabno MyTrends, kjer si naprava zapomni tvoje shranjene poi točke in predvideva, da si namenjen proti njej in ti avtomatsko v zgornjo obvestilno vrstico napiše ime tiste točke in če je kakšna posebnost na tej poti, torej je povezano z TMCjem. Edino ta stvar je uporabna, da ti ni treba vedno vnašat pot, da bi videl posebnosti na cesti. Seveda, pogojno, ker tako vemo, kako je TMC uporaben pri nas.
